POLE FITNESS Classes:Pole Foundations (level- Beginner) Learn your first basic foundation of many spins used in pole dance, transitions and your four point walk. This is an entry level class and is required for new students before they take any other class. It is recommended that new students take a minimum of three foundations classes before moving on to Spin and Strut 101. Pole Spin and Strut 101 (level- Beginner)Take your foundation knowledge to the next level learning how to transition in and out of your basic pole spins and adding simple choreography.Pole Spin and Strut 201 (level- Beginner to Intermediate)Learn new foundation spins and combination spins (2 spins in one movement) as well as how to transition in and out of them using more challenging choreography. Pole Spin and Strut 301 (level- Intermediate to Advanced)Learn the final spin foundation (blind hand grab) and how to combine three or more spins into one movement and adding more challenging choreography. Pole Strength and Conditioning (level-ALL)Learn pole conditioning techniques that can help you increase your upper body strength at a fast pace. This is not a movement/choreography based class. Pole Dance Spinnin' Basics (level- Intermediate)Learn how to perform basic spins while your pole is in SPIN mode. This takes a larger degree of strength, balance, and finesse. We recommend you do not eat any large meals within an hour of this class AND discourage people with severe motion sickness to take this class.Pole Trix (Level- Intermediate to Advanced)Learn how to build pole tricks safely with instructor guidance and spotting. Variations will be shown to meet different strength levels. This is not a movement-based class as pole tricks take time to build and perform correctly. Bare legs and mid-drift are required, you may wear cover ups. EXOTIC FITNESS Classes (non-pole) Booty Basics (Level- ALL)Learn booty basic techniques and work on toning exercises to help your booty be the best it can be! Stretching will also be used in this class to increase hip and inner thigh flexibility, which is crucial to great booty work. Foxy Floor and Core (Level- ALL)Learn how to strengthen your core and legs the sexy way! We incorporate basic floor foundations that compliment pole dance to help you become the whole package on and off the pole. Cheeky Chair Dance (Level- ALL)Learn basic chair dance foundations and how to incorporate them into a seamless routine that involves floorwork and transitions similar to those used in pole dance classes.

Impulse Pole Dance Studio 10 Spot, Pole for a Purpose

Workshops Sarah Murray aka Pole Momma Owner, Instructor USF MPA Graduate and self confessed pole nerd, Sarah fell in love with Pole Dancing for fitness immediately after she tried it. Sarah loved the challenge and room for expression Pole Dance presented, not to mention how sexy it made her feel! Sarah decided to take her passion to St. Pete opening Impulse Studios Pole Dance and Exotic Fitness, the city’'s first official Pole Dance Fitness studio years (and many bruises) after that first class. Sarah combines a technical dance background (15+ years of ballet and modern training) and the patience of a child’'s dance teacher with natural grace and a warm personality to give her students the best experience possible. Understanding and appreciating the importance of education and training, Sarah holds a number of certifications for Pole Dance Fitness and Group Fitness. Sarah founded Pole for a Purpose, inc. in 2011 and coordinated a multi-studio showcase to raise money for Vixens Against Violence. She prides herself in positively representing the Pole Dance Community through educating the general population on the art and sport of Pole Fitness. Kylie aka GoldfishInstructor Kylie is one of the studio's founding members. She was invited to start training and teaching after showing great enthusiasm and passion. Kylie has a background in fitness, she previously performed and taught with the St Pete Hoola Monsters. With an amazing amount of energy and patience, Kylie makes all our students feel happy and exhausted in her classes!Brandi aka House of Cherry PrincessInstructorWriter by day and pole dance princess by night, Brandi comes to Impulse Studio with a love and passion for pole dancing and helping women feel good about themselves. Brandi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of South Florida, and has loved reading and writing since the age of 10, but pole is where her heart is! Brandi enjoys introducing women of all shapes, sizes and skill levels to the art and fitness of pole and loves seeing the postive effects pole can have on women's confidence levels and self-esteem. She recently opened a satellite location of her boutique, House of Cherry Lingerie, Shoes & Exotic Wear inside Impulse Studio and is working toward making the world a prettier and more fun place to live, one piece of lingerie (and pole spin) at a time! Michelle InstructorAs Impulse’s resident Certified Personal Trainer, Michelle'’s aspiration is to help women to look and feel good from the inside out while assisting them to overcome fears and inhibitions through pole fitness and dance. Dancing to the beat of her own drum, Michelle enjoys hobbies such as motocross, martial arts, snowboarding and of course, pole dancing! Although her background is in business marketing, real estate, and event planning, fitness and dance have always inspired Michelle to pursue this special form of self-expression, and her down-to-earth, optimistic and energetic personality make her a special part of the Impulse team. Michelle encourages all women to be their own unique selves and to follow their dreams saying, “Life is a journey with surprising unknown destinations…if you open your mind to new ideas you never know what may come!”

Traveling fees may apply to cover fuel costs for on site parties depending on your location.

Parties are (2) hrs. long for up to (12) ladies and cost $250.00

Each additional guest (participating or not) after (12) is $35.00/guest

(Deposit off $125 required to save your date and time, no deposit refunds without 2 weeks cancellation)

Your party is not booked until we receive your deposit. To avoid loosing your reservation we require the deposit within two weeks of your booking or on the date of your booking if it is less than two weeks away. If you prefer to not use paypal please contact the office at 813-325-1990 for another payment option. We do not accept personal checks at this time.
