Being a Beginner is so exciting but can also be overwhelming, we know! To make the process stress free, we offer Beginners two options to start classes at Impulse.
1. Sign up for a Beginner 4 Week Session Course (PREFERRED):
  • Meet once a week, for 4 consecutive weeks learning with the same classmates (who are also Beginners) and instructor in a private group setting.
  • Learn foundational spins, transitions, tricks and sequences progressively, building week to week on a set of curriculum.
  • $139 Investment (everyone gets their own pole & classes are an hour)
  • Most new clients will take a Beginner 4 Week Course 2-4 times to get exposed to all the necessary Beginner curriculum before joining in a Membership.
  • Sessions start at the Beginning of every month. The next Sessions start Jan 2023.

2. Sign up for a "Drop In" class that is Beginner Level:
  • These classes offer more scheduling flexibility but are more mixed level in nature, since our regular Members also enjoy coming to them.
  • Curriculum is Beginner based, with modifications depending on who has registered for class. This can be intimidating so we recc. most new clients start with our 4 Week Beginner Courses if at all possible.
  • $35 a la carte (buying one at a time)
  • We offer Memberships to save money, but you should try a drop in or 4 Week course, first as Memberships have contracts with autopays.

What to Wear, When to Arrive, Etc.
  • You can be comfortable in class, typical attire is leggings you can roll up or shorts preferably, tee or tank and bare feet for beginners. NO LOTION on your hands or legs prior to class, it will make you slip on the pole.
  • As you progress, you might feel the urge to try heels! Totally your call, though.
  • Please arrive 10 min early to your first class to get checked in, meet your teacher and settled. Late arrivals missing warm up cannot attend class for safety reasons.
  • You do not need to bring anything to pole class other than water & your willingness to try and accept that it won't be perfect day 1 but you will have FUN, laugh and feel proud after.
  • Late cancel policies for drop ins is 6 hrs to avoid losing your class credit for Drop In Classes, for Sessions your spot is locked in for 4 Weeks and if you miss a class you can use one of your "open pole" opportunities to practice.
